1.0.3 isn’t a major release however, we did add more features and fix a few bugs. This release will be available for download shortly, in the meantime you can read about it below.

The Breakdown.

When you needed to embed your comment system within your site, you had to go through quite a few steps such as setting the height manually or entering your domain quite a few times before copying the code to your clipboard. In 1.0.3 we created a calculator within the Grestul software to calculate the height based on the comments per page and it automatically implements it in the code. During install, you provided a domain for proper redirection which as-well has been implemented in the embed code. Now, all you do is copy and paste the code wherever you need it! Read

I’m going to explain why Grestul contains so-much files and why it’s so sophisticated for a comment system.

First off, Grestul was developed for easy management without the need to open files manually and to follow an everlasting instruction manual, to delete a comment, or change a setting. I’ve already started to merge files in the admin panel to reduce it to only 4-5 php files.

Grestul took about a month and a half to complete. It took this long because I made 15+ tests for each and every block of code. Making sure if anything possible happens, Grestul will know how to handle it. The installer took quite some time to develop as-well, making sure any accidental mistakes a user makes, Grestul won’t make that mistake too and instead correct it or notify you without continuing.
